COLLEGE OF DUPAGE 2+2 PROGRAM IN SOCIAL WORK

College of DuPage students can seamlessly transfer to ÐÔÊÓ½ç after earning their associate’s degree. Students will earn the Associate of Applied Science in Human Services at COD and then transfer to ÐÔÊÓ½ç to complete the Bachelor of Arts in Social Work with the option to complete the MSW in one additional year. ÐÔÊÓ½ç BA and MSW programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education’s Commission on Accreditation (CSWE).

Students at COD may transfer up to 65 credit hours. Students will then transfer to ÐÔÊÓ½ç University to complete their remaining two years, 63 credit hours at the Romeoville campus. If a student would like to earn their MSW, they can do so in one additional year.

Tuition

COD courses are taught at COD tuition rates, while the remaining ÐÔÊÓ½ç courses are completed and paid based on ÐÔÊÓ½ç tuition rates.

WHO CAN ENROLL?

  • Students who are enrolled in or have completed the Associate of Applied Science in Human Services as outlined in the COD/ÐÔÊÓ½ç 2+2 agreement.
  • Students completing the Associate of Applied Science degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 (on a 4.0 scale).
  • New students to COD who indicate their intent to enter the partnership program with ÐÔÊÓ½ç. Students can apply for dual enrollment to COD and ÐÔÊÓ½ç.
